But Chris at Hodgden's indicated recently, in an email, that we could expect to see a bunch of W231 hit the market this Spring. I like HP38/W231 and consider it one of my go-to powders (I like Unique, too, but end up having to compress it a bit to load it into a 9mm case...). RDA Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I keep a close eye on NE Ohio powder, I have seen very little of Win 231 or Hodgdon HP-38 over the past year. I bought one pound of HP-38 a few months back, the only pound that was available. There was also one other store in NE Ohio that had some HP-38 but it quickly disappeared. AJE Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 I'm from the Dayton area but anytime I go "up north" I always try to stop by Sportsman's Den in Shelby and/or Fin Feather & Fur in Ashland. During the panic these guys still had 8lbers on the shelf... I NEVER see 8lbs of anything around Dayton.
