triplesinglestack
I got this limited gun a few years back and have always wondered about this cut in the slide, near the breech face, what purpose does it serve, I got the gun used (gun broker) with out any history, I don't know who built it, or who shot it, but it runs great, thanks! triplesinglestack
That would make sense, but is that a common area to have cracks?
ExtremeShot
If it was to fix a crack...that is one weird crack. Never seen a crack run horizontally on the side and never seen one start in the middle. Usually they start on the edge.
pyrrhic3gun
Remove porosity or defect (sold as a blemished item)? Would beat trying to weld it up and refinish.
