XtReMe90
Just finished a new 18" build and I have a ton of parts so I was thinking of throwing together a 16" gun but the only upper any lower I have right now is Bushmasters. Would you build it using a bushmaster or should I buy a new set? I'm using a 16" Seekins barrel, 15 MCSR handguard, Seekins adjustable gas block and Seekins ATC muzzle brake.. This will just be used for 3 gun purposes.... Maybe a production gun.

dauntedfuture
It is my understanding that most all the uppers come mostly finished out of the same place and its only minor finishing and stamping that the end company accomplishes. So, aside from cosmetic differences, there is not much a difference between uppers and lowers unless you are looking for special features. I would use what you have. Craig N
A lower is a lower is a lower. I prefer the bushmaster logo personally and use them when I can. My go to gun and 3 gun rifle is a BCM complete upper on a 90s era bushmaster lower.
