ChuckS
This stuff is just amazing! I called my friend from the range yesterday during a 1 hour stand down for a funeral. I left a voice mail and his phone provider translated the voice mail into a text message I don't recall saying exactly that...
Youngeyes
The really sad part is that kids nowadays would see nothing wrong. I'd find a ten YO and get a translation.
Yeti
Tech FAIL. The bigger question is... Why did you guys bury someone on the range??? ?
ChuckS
Tech FAIL. The bigger question is... Why did you guys bury someone on the range??? The range at Pala is on an Indian Reservation and the tribe is the landlord of the range. There is a graveyard just off the main road through town and the road that leads to the range. We had to stand down during the services. Not big deal if you consider hanging around the range better than doing your honeydew list. Beside. they have a killer buffet at the Casino! If that buffet is as killer as you say, it's a good thing that graveyard is there.
SiG Lady
Gah, that's so incomprehensible! (Not unlike the earlier Honda motorcycle manuals translated from Japanese---by God knows who.)
Ming the Merciless
Kawasaki manuals were just as bad. Evidentially the Japanese don't have a word for clockwise, so to tighten a fastener you had to turn it anti-counterclockwise.
Dranoel
I'm guessing your "smart"phone is Japanese? Need I say more?
TonytheTiger
Back in high school I was into Japanese tuner cars, you would not believe the translations the parts companies would come up with when marketing their parts in the US. I think the word "super" appears in every sentence.
Pat Miles
Gah, that's so incomprehensible! (Not unlike the earlier Honda motorcycle manuals translated from Japanese---by God knows who.) Suzuki's manuals were the same. The classic I still remember for obvious reasons was a "rock washer" in an exploded parts diagram.

djeffers
I'm guessing your "smart"phone is Japanese? Need I say more? When I was stationed in S. Korea, outside of camp Casey was a place called "Donkey Fried Chicken;" I never tried it. added: I wish I did take a picture of some of the road signs on base now, they did screw up some Engrish. ChuckS
I'm guessing your "smart"phone is Japanese? Need I say more? Actually, that translation is from a service available on not-Dave's Sprint account. It was not done on a mobile unit...
