1eyedfatman
Are the differences in limited & production in Steel matches just like USPSA? I have a CZ 75 custom shadow which can be run double-action first shot in USPSA Production or cocked and locked in USPSA Limited…but in USPSA limited, I'd be at a disadvantage because shooting minor instead of major. I do prefer to run my CZ cocked and locked whenever possible…especially when shooting smaller steel targets. So, just wanting to confirm the options I have with my CZ and if I always have to shoot in DA first, I may choose to shoot my Glock 34.
2MoreChains
By Steel Matches, are you referring to Steel Challenge? If so, no disadvantage for minor PF scoring. By all means, start with hammer back/safety on and load those mags to capacity and register in Limited division. I suppose even in a USPSA all-steel-stage why would minor/major PF scoring apply? There's no scoring zones on steel.
1eyedfatman
Not sure the specific type of Steel match…I've been to several local matches and one large local match. I'm asking one of our match setup guys to see which rules normally apply.
