Dawson mag tuning kit and sv tubes

i was about to buy one and noticed that it list not for use with SV tubes. anyone know why? anyone used the kit to do SV tubes and it was ok?

I used the Dawson tuning kit on my old SV tubes and all the tubes cracked on the rear weld.

SV tubes are much harder/more rigid than STI tubes.

So how are they tuned?? heat the lips and bend?

do your SV mags work? The SV mags usually hold better tolerances than the STI mags. Are you trying to tune for reliability or capacity as the dawson kit basically is for reliability than anything and is really not worth the cash

Reliabilty and to keep the followers in. bought some name brand followers and when i installed them they tilt up in the front. i put them in my Brazo tuned mags and it does not do it. i measured the brazo and they are . 382 between the mag lips, while the Sv ones are .408.
