ES13Raven
What is a good starting point for a load with 147gr Xtreme RN and Titegroup in the SP01 Shadow? I'm looking to get about 130 PF. Does 3.2 grains and 1.130 OAL sound close?

Gdub
Would you have to go up or down with the powder charge to keep the same pf if you were using a 147 gr cast bullet?
thermobollocks
Would you have to go up or down with the powder charge to keep the same pf if you were using a 147 gr cast bullet? The cast bullets I've used often have a flat nose, and therefore max OAL to chamber is a tick shorter. You'll probably find yourself in the same neighborhood of 3.1-3.3 grains. But, Titegroup and cast bullets, for me, have required the use of a chisel during my normal cleaning. If you're okay with that, rock on.
