"CZ 75 SHADOW RAIL" USPSA production legal?

Emails below, BLUF as said earlier my initial email was misleading and the "Shadow Rail" is a production legal SP-01 Shadow.

Troy,

After doing a little more research I think I might have described the
pistol incorrectly. The pistol in question is actually a Shadow SP-01
when shipped from the factory, not a "Shadow Rail". There is no SP-01
roll mark on the frame, however CZUB sales it as a SP-01 Shadow and
gives a serial number as a SP-01 Shadow. Then CZ-USA puts a sticker
on the box that has the words "Shadow Rail" on it, not sure why. I've
attached a picture of the box. I think the problem will be proving it
is a SP-10 Shadow. Perhaps taking the box it came in to matches where
I am worried.

His reply...

As far as I can tell, the "Shadow Rail" is the SP-01 Shadow. The terminology threw me off, too, and I don't understand why that sticker is applied to the box, but it's been approved. All of them come with the light rail. See: http://www.czub.cz/en/catalog/79-pistols-cz/PST/CZ_75_SP-01_SHADOW.aspx

I wouldn't worry about the box.

Thanks Andrew!

I don't think you need to bring the box if 'proof' at higher level matches is a worry for you, just take a picture of the factory SP-01 Shadow label with serial number, print that and a copy of Troy's comments for your range bag. Any questions, you can match the letter, picture, and gun if questioned. (... But you probably won't be asked)

Now go have fun!
