Graham Smith
For anyone who has ever spent an hour laughing listening to Car Talk on the radio, here is a little remembrance of the late Tom Magliozzi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnNVxGvXjTg The show stopped in 2012 when Tom's Alzheimer's got too much for him. But there is a huge archive of past shows that continue to be rebroadcast.

Graham Smith
There are MP3 collections available from iTunes, Google, Amazon, and Audible. A friend told me that there are PodCasts of the shows also.
jhgtyre
Car Talk was a great radio program and I'm not even a "car guy". I didn't know they quit because of Tom's Alzheimer's, that is sad. I still listen to the reruns when I'm in the car. Great stuff. -ld

Graham Smith
I read an interview one time that talked how two MIT graduates came to open a do-it-yourself car repair shop and how the radio show started. One a strange tale that was. Of course, those two have been known to stretch the truth just a little from time to time.
