b1gcountry
How did you do that? That isn't quite the one. That is what my wife calls the "lead sled". The lead on the left I bought. The lead on the right is my first melting of wheelweights. Need to find more.I would hate to shot the rifle that uses those bullets!

gahunter12
I have out grown my garage space, and my wife wants the garage back. I have been working on my new reloading shop for the last month now. I still have to terminate my perminate power to the house, and build my last 16ft bench down the left side. The Left bench will be for my Dillon presses, and the back wall will be for my single stage presses. My right bench will house my drill press, case prep station, and gun care area. I will have 12" deep shelving above the left bench, and wall cabinets above the right bench. I will have a 36"W x 72"H x 24"D storage shelve at the end of my right bench. The cut out on the back wall is for my A/C unit.

gahunter12
You know, I have looked at a few wireless systems. I need to call my security company out to take a look. I did renforce the door with a high grade deadbolt, and strike master steel door frame renforcement Kit and 3" screws in to the studs.

BeerBaron
mine is not nearly as impressive as GAhunter's! wow! but mine is inside the house, it is air conditioned. it's in my office/study room up stairs. I have a nice big office desk in there with PC etc, some cabinets for storage and then the bench. Bench has a nice thick solid top. it's bolted to the wall and leveled off with adjustable feet. the cabinet underneath holds powder and primers and is locked. it's nicely vented on both sides so no chance of it becoming an explosion hazzard. it has tools hanging off both sides on various attachments. On the door (steel) is a magnetic caddy holding a can of compressed air, one shot case lube, some press oil etc. Press is mounted on a nice thick piece of sleeper then clamped to the bench for flexibility in moving stuff around. I run 3 presses at the moment, lee classic turret, lee loadmaster and dillon XL650. The 650 is the main press these days. It has a few of the blingy upgrades, inline fab light kit, inline fab primer tube rack (mounted to the side of the sleeper), bin dam, billet tool head, primer chute to bottle, shell plate bearing kit, shell plate low mass detent ball. Running lee dies. ' The second sleeper has a swivel vice mounted on it which is very handy. It's not the garage-mahal by any means, but I like being inside! And it gets the job done. DagoRed
Yeah that's a great idea for the primer tubes. I use my grandfather's press at his house, a 550b, he's got a very nice setup (I'll try to get some pics next time I go over, his shotgun presses drop the loaded shells straight through the bench into a bucket) but it's 30 minutes away and I have to make sure I can go for a few hours to get anything meaningful done. I'm waiting on funds to build a new shed and reclaim my garage so I can get my own Dillon and do at home. Love getting ideas from everybody. BeerBaron
Yep the primer tube rack is from inline fab. You could make one pretty easily but I was happy enough to just buy it. My advise is get the one you mount to bench/wall/etc not the one that mounts up on the casefeeder. I would not want those tubes swinging around there all the time. chrishoesel
OK, I'll bite. I spent a good week of my 3 week R&R back home setting up my reloading room/bench for a couple of 1050's, a forster, and a T7. The table is a steel-framed Global Industrial production workbench and I ended up setting up in an "island" format, so I could reload on one side, and do other things on the opposite side. The bench is a 96 inch x 36 inch and is very solid, although not 100% I would prefer to have mounted the bench against the wall, but my current living situation means that I might sell the house and therefore a permanent installation is out of the question.....there is also the possibility my wife might kick me out of that room so.... The blue storage cabinet is also from Global Industrial, and I use it to lock up and store all my toolheads and dies. The powder/primers/chemicals are stored in a wooden antique cabinet and is just right for the job. Until the wife changes that, of course. glynnm45
First off chrishoesel, thank you for your service and sacrifices for our country. Secondly, Awesome setup, top shelf equipment and spotless setting. Thirdly, it appears the Military is paying much more than the 97/mo I was paid back in the late 60's, but I only attained E-5 status as a Navy Corpsman. Again, thanks and prayers for you as you continue your service to this country. G45
