I have an older P18 that won't reliably load more than 11 rounds in a Para old style mag. Has anyone had any luck with the new mags if they had issues before? xrayfk05 Posted September 26, 2014 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Just replace the spring and maybe the follower in the old mag and it will be fine. Had one just like it, it would lock up with about 13 rounds in the mag, spring looked just fine. Replace both spring and follower with Arredondo and back to 18 rounds. furyalecto Posted September 26, 2014 Author Share Posted September 26, 2014 I have tried 9 or 10 Para 9mm mags in many configurations. I have tried all sorts of spring & followers. Will try to double-check with an Arredondo, but I am pretty sure I have. I tried squeezing them in a vise as others have. I believe my old style SV mags work, but would need more.
