noclevername
Anybody using VV 340 for 9mm? Was able to pick some up today cheap for the 45ACP but thought about trying it in 9mm with 124 or 147Gr berrys. Any thoughts currently using 3.2-3.4gr. TG and above bullets for IDPA. Henry625
I am currently using N340 in USPSA to make minor with 124grn Berry's bullets with no problems. Refer to the Vhitavouri manual for your load data.
MDlineman
I am using it with Zero 125 JHP conicals and Hornady HAPs. Clean and accurate.
1SOW
Runs fine for those weights in minor PF. Has the 'good' VV characteristics, clean, cool burning and linear with load builds. I've also used it for 124gr S.D. loads to 1200+ fps in a 4.6" CZ, and it still shot comfortably and behaved well.
SilverBolt
I did some minor PF test loads. Had a little sharper recoil than Bullseye/Titegroup but not horrible. I would use it if I ran short of BE/TG. Meters well.
mizer67
This is one of my favorite 9mm powders for accuracy. 4.85 gr with a PD 124 JHP at 1.085" OAL is an extremely accurate load running ~1,080 fps out of a G17. I'd try 4.6 or 4.7 gr with the Berry's at 1.130 OAL or so and see how it prints.
