euxx
...We MAY someday post to Practiscore as well, but so far all our stuff winds up in one easy to follow place. Results go back on line for years... Posting your match results to the practiscore.com web site is one of great things you could do to support Practiscore. Just saying... euxx
...And in my opinion, the match results out of PS are still wrong. DQ's should be listed on stage and overall results at the absolute bottom of the list, and in PS they sometimes are not... Let me rephrase myself... Are you speculating or you have tested it in the last version you've requested? If you did, I somehow missed the bug report... Though in my view it is pretty much a moot point, as USPSA's own web site doesn't do it. You can see it all the time in the intermediate area match results. wgnoyes
No, this is from previous bug reports that Chris Wren put in months ago and which I significantly expanded. https://practiscore.com/bugs/view.php?id=174 The problem still shows "assigned". That is, not yet fixed. You have NEVER seen a DQ listed ahead of ANYONE else on stage or overall listings in an ezws-generated match results report printed directly from the app. Anyway, you've been pretty busy today with 1.2.20...., er...., 1.2.21. And how does posting our match results on practiscore "support" practiscore? Don't get me wrong; I'm not saying anyone shouldn't do this, on the contrary, please do. It's nice to see the combined results. But remember official by-division web-based match results are hosted by uspsa.org.

You have NEVER seen a DQ listed ahead of ANYONE else on stage or overall listings in an ezws-generated match results report printed directly from the app. Well, last comment from Ken there is dated in May and there was a few releases since then. Russ is forgetting to update issue tracker some times and I won't be so sure it is not fixed yet. You just said the USPSA web site has the official results and as far as I know these mixed DQ results been posted from EZWS... ..?? As far as I know, USPSA does not really sponsor Practiscore development and I am also not saying you should not post your results to USPSA site. wgnoyes
It wasn't fixed in the latest bleeding edge iOS version. It does appear fixed in yours, and thank you for that. You need to show me ezwinscore results that have DQ's mixed in amongst the other zeros and not at the absolute bottom of the listing. I don't believe it. And I'm not talking about web-hosted results, either. Web sites can always introduce issues over which the uploading app has no control, as we all know with practiscore.com's idiosyncrasies. I'm talking instead about results generated and printed directly out of ezwinscore. Edited September 11, 2014 by wgnoyes
Jim Norman
Posting results. We maintain our own site where all our info can be found in one place. We could post to USPSA and Practiscore. One, it is another item to handle after each match. We post an give shooters a couple days to verify their info then we repost the corrected scores, three places, two more to update. After the number of years we have been doing this, we have developed a certain set of habits. Someday we might change them. If our shooters want it, that would be the catalyst for change that we'd pay attention to.
euxx
Jim, it only takes one button push to post results to practiscore.com and to show your support of the project...
Jim Norman
Once we get the final scores approved I may do that. I'll talk with my shooters and see how they feel. Some are a little shy of having their name posted all over. even on our web we have had issues. It isn't nice living behind the socialist curtain. I do support you100% in your efforts and tout the benefits to all near and far of the PS system. Our club alone runs two or possibly three matches on PS and just about everywhere we shoot this is all we see anymore. Heck, I am not even sure I could fill out a paper sheet anymore! I KNOW i don't ever want to go back to entering scores off paper for any size match!
wgnoyes
He's got a point, euxx. USPSA hides the full last name and just shows the lname initial instead unless you're logged onto uspsa.org as a current member. Have you all considered such a facility for practiscore.com-hosted results?
euxx
I'd advise to bring it to Ken, as it is beyond my control. Edited September 12, 2014 by euxx
Jim Norman
I was just about to download 1.2.19 and I see 1.2.21 is available. I don't see anything here about it or what it may have repaired from 19. I will be scoring two matches run simultaneously on Sunday, a 2-gun Tie Plus and a USPSA handgun, same stages, same time, two nooks per stage. I really don't need issues! So, information Please!!!! wgnoyes
1.2.19 had idpa issues, it would crash (I think) on the review screen. 1.2.20 would crash on any attempt to sync. 1.2.21 addressed that.

wood5443
So I need some help. I used the root n score it program to load my nooks and I am trying to reset them so I can load the latest version. Everytime I go to Settings, Device Info, Erase & Deregister I get an error. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!
ZackJones
No need to reset. Just use Dropbox to install new version. Basically you download.APK and put it on Dropbox. Then put a micro SD card in nook and then tap on file in Dropbox to install. Do this for each NST you want to update. It is very easy to update this way. If you have a Nook that is running Practiscore there is no need to reroot said Nook with a the latest version of RootnScoreit, also you don't need to reroot to install the newest version of PractiScore. wgnoyes
Well I wonder if because you've already tried the "erase and deregister" thing and it blew up, that you now may really need to reset to factory and start again on that particular nook. If you find that you do, put in the rootnscoreit card and do the factory reset from there as provided in one of the options.
