Received my box of 165gr from Xtreme today. Loaded up with 2.6gr of Titegroup runs about 768 fps out of my M&P Pro 5" with good groups at 20 yards. I haven't had a chance to shoot too many of them yet but so far I really like them. I plan to order a few more thousand tonight.

I put a red dont on a cz yesterday to test the accuracy of the 165s and it got 5in group at 30 yards and a 2in group at 15 yards. My load was 2.7 gr TG 1.150. I was also able to recover one of my bullets and it doesnt seem like the rifling in the barrel is bitting the bullet very hard. The groups were 6 shots

I ran some 165 xtreme's just a couple days ago. Tried them over bullseye and e3. The bullseye load was 2.88gr at 1.16 OAL and averaged 815 FPS. Had two different e3 loads, one at 2.6gr, 1.16 OAL averaged 795 FPS, and one at 2.9gr, 1.16 OAL and averaged 840 FPS. I went with those two loads for e3 as I had tried 2.8gr some months ago when I first got them in and wanted to see what going slightly up and down would do. For what its worth the 2.9gr load of e3 was the most accurate of the three loads with the bullseye load not much worse, but none of the loads was as good as I get with 147gr ammo so far.

I shot three different loads with the 165 xtremes. Fired from a Sig P226

1) 3.0 of Bullseye averaged 790 FPS

2) 3.6 WSF averaged 805 FPS

3) 4.0 BE-86 averaged 834 FPS Best group ~3" for 10 shots @ 25 yrds

OAL 1.650

This season was my second shooting xtremes 165's in my Wilson barreled g34. They deff almost feel like cheating, and watching video you can see the front sight barely moves vertically at all. For me anyway...

Mixed brass

Xtreme 165 played

2.7gr tg

Fed sp match

1.140oal

130pf

I've also used 3.0gr of N320 when tg was very scarce for a bit. Great results there also but I wound up going back to tg for the cost savings. I have a pound of N310 sitting around and the idea of that load is tempting, but risky IMO.

At 2.5 TG I get 115 PF , that's what I used for bug match. To get 130 , I need 3g of TG out of GP XTrim
