saibot
I was thinking about getting some of the SNS bullets to try out and just wanted to see if anyone has had any issues with them from a factory Glock G34 barrel. Any long term fouling or long term issues? Thanks!
Jman
Personally, I wouldn't hesitate. No direct experience with the brand, but shooting high quality coated bullets in Glock barrels is common.
dauntedfuture
I never had any issues with lead or coated bullets in my glock 17, 19 or 22.
JHicks8h
No issues here with SNS coated bullets in a glock 34 or glock 35.
tbrtt1
I use Bayou Bullets, with the same (I think) coating, exclusively of late with no issues.
Sarge
You will be good to go. Bare lead is another story but the coating on all the major players right now is tough as nails though it does smoke a little no matter what anybody says.
tac_driver
Glock 19 OEM Barrel I use S&S casting exclusively found barrel to be cleaner that lead or jacketed
jayhkr
+10,11, and 12...my G19 loves them! Shot around 2k through it and no issues to report.
jcc7x7
I've personally used Bayou's and SnS bullets in both gloch's and H&K's which have poly rifling and have had no problems with either type of gun using either companies coated bullets. I've also shot several thousand plain lead bullets through Gloch's with no problems
nicholastheczar
I've been running some 125 SNS bullets through my stock Glock 34 barrel with absolutely no problems.
saibot
Thanks for all of the feedback, everyone! Looks like this will be my new bullet for now. 20k ordered! I appreciate the help!
bubba04
everyone happy with their results still? I just recently started shooting SNS & Bayou bullets, and if I can use them in my glock barrels, I will be buying a crap load more....
Butterpuc
I almost use the new HiTek coated bullets exclusively, no issues in a stock Glock barrel.
littlehendrick
I started running some BBI bullets through my stock glock 19 barrel. No issues so far. There is smoke, but not nearly as bad as straight lead. I find it a good middle ground for price vs smoke.
lksyotas
I recently tried SNS 147 poly coated bullets with 3.2 grains of Titegroup in my new Gen4 G17. I've never had so much lead after 100 rounds in a barrel! I tried a few different powders with a slower burn and ended up finding that Promo powder works great. Zero leading in the factory barrel and hardly any soot and hardly any smoke. It's going to be my new competition load as its clean shooting and much cheaper than the jacketed bullets I'm used to. Plus it's proving to be as accurate or slightly better than my old standbys of Montana Gold and Titegroup combo. b1gcountry
I have put about 1k through the barrel without issue. I clean aster every trip, and i don't notice much difference in the barrel between a 50rd trip and a 300rd trip.
