I wouldnt give up my live fire training though. Live fire builds confidence that dry fire is working. DJD Posted October 31, 2018 Share Posted October 31, 2018 Dry fire for me builds confidence in gun handling skills and sight alignment. Nothing replaces live fire. Unfortunately for most of us life keeps us busy and dry fire is easier to fit in on a daily basis. Dry fire practice makes range days more productive. Steve Anderson Posted December 7, 2018 Share Posted December 7, 2018 You'll find that the gun becomes an extension of your body, and you'll be free to no longer think about basic gun handling skills in competition.
