So is that 5 Stock II's? Do you shoot different divisions or steel with them? Nothing wrong with having multiple ones just curious
There are 5 stock 2 9mm. I'm actually thinning them out. Giving one to my father. One I'm trading. Keeping my small frame and two large frames. So at the end I'll have 3. My small frame is my primary. I'll have one back up and one safe queen.

That's cool, I wasn't being facetious, just was curious as to 5. My 2 are good as primary and a backup. Some pretty pistols though:-)

oh no, didnt take it that way. 5 is excessive but they were offered to me at a pretty fair price considering how hard they are to find so i bought them.

If you decide to let one go at a fair price I'm interested.

Last version on the old workhorse, the "path there" is found in the chop shop topic

before anybody asks what the nut is doing on the sidemount...started to get erratic hits last year and found that the front threads for the c-more were bad...

Gennaro: I have a question. I want to cut back my dust cover and add the cuts in the slide spring tunnel. I spoke to a local gunsmith who is very highly regarded for his work on 2011s. However as soon as I said tanfoglio Eric custom he said "no way, slide is too hard to mill!"

Apparently he tried to cut a tanfoglio slide some years ago and it just wrecked the cutting tool in his mill.

Can I ask what kind of tool you used? Are the slides really that hard? Is it perhaps a problem with older slides?

If there's a tool that'll cut it that's not too exxy I'd be willing to just buy it for him to use in his mill.

Where would you acquire an aftermarket barrel for a Tanfo? I would like to rebarrel a Gold Custom without ports and experiment with different compensator designs.

Therein lies the question!

From time to time EAA stocks 6" barrels, but after the price hike they're $321... Power Factor Shooting/Briley has toyed with the idea, but it's stuck in the mud.

Your best bet is to pull the comp off the second barrel which comes with the gun and only has one port in the comp.

You can also just have a new cone comp made and cover the holes.

a second barrel comes with the Gold Team??
