T Bacus
I built a 5" 9mm in 2006 for IDPA, 3 Gun, Steel Challenge and the occasional USPSA match. A couple of years later I picked up all of the parts to build a 6" 40 top end for USPSA but put off building it because I was focusing on 3 gun and Steel Challenge. I shot a couple of USPSA matches last year and decided that I would have the 40 top end done in time for the VA/MD Section match this year. I got it done the week before the match and the gun worked great, even making major (barely, 165.9) with ammo that had failed in the 5" it was loaded for. After the match I sent it off to Metaloy for hard chrome. Here's the gun with the 5" top end. And the 6" 40 top end.

T Bacus
Looks good. Did the longer sight radius help in your match? Not in any measurable way. The Va/Md match was a pretty close range hoser fest.
