It'll work just fine. I ran it about .2 grains more than 3n38 so its a pain to load. You just have to load very slow to avoid slinging powder.

I didn't like it as much 3n38, though. It felt a little on the sluggish side.

Can you fit enough of it in the case to make major with 9?

I've been told it fills an entire 38SC case....

ps... Should move this to the 9/38 sub forum...probably get more responses

105 does almost fill the 38SC case. However, you have to remember that you're running much higher pressures in 9mm so it takes less powder to make the same PF.

Do you think it can work?

I should clarify. I used 105 with 125 grain bullets at about 169 PF out of a shorty with 4 small barrel holes (brazos pro sx). That same load produced 175 in a full length pistol without bbl holes.

So, unless you're using a hybrid bbl with the large bbl holes, you can make major with 105 in 9mm.

Not True, I am using N105 and I have room left to put bullet in. I am running a 178 PF

There's a different shellplate bearing you can get to keep the thing from clicking over so aggressively and spilling powder. I've never tried it personally.

I run this product on my 1050 and it does seem to help with the spilled powder issue on the compressed powder loads.

What was your actual load.
