Realistic Combative Shotgun 1 (CSH1) with Todd Rassa $200 per student

Duration: 1 day/ 8 hours

The shotgun is one of the most popular and effective firearms platforms available. Most households own a least one shotgun and many consider it their primary home defense firearm. Most defensive uses of the shotgun occur within medium to very short range distances; however, most shotgun shooting schools focus on distance shooting. Realistic Combative Shotgun 1 will teach the student how to effectively use the shotgun in real-life defensive situations. In this fast paced one-day course we will practice techniques and tactics that will improve our overall shotgun handling skills and increase our abilities to succeed in a Realistic Combative Shotgun situation. Topics covered: • Design, Function and weapons craft • Tactical reloads • Multiple adversaries • Close quarters long gun shooting techniques • Shotgun Room Searches and Clearing Techniques Estimated Round Count: 250 rounds of shotgun ammunition Equipment Needed: • Pump or semi-auto shotgun (sling optional) • Footwear and clothing suitable for rapid movement, turning and shooting outside. • Shooting safety equipment (protective eyes, ears and a hat with a brim)

COME MEET TODD RASSA

Todd is currently a Sergeant with a very large Mid-Atlantic Police Department. He has 26 years of law enforcement experience and over a decade of firearms instructor experience. In addition to law enforcement, Todd is the President of High Calibre Training and Consulting and Founder of Todd Rassa Training. He has numerous firearms instructor certifications that include the SigSauer Academy, US Secret Service, Smith and Wesson Academy and a Mid Atlantic State Police Training Commission. During his career he has worked in the areas of Patrol, Detectives, Crash Reconstruction; Behavior-al Analysis and the Special Response Team. Todd is an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), National Rifle Association (NRA), and the In-ternational Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI). Todd’s expertise in firearms training, survival tactics, counter-terrorism and terrorist threat assessment; hand-to-hand combat and behavioral analysis disciplines are sought after worldwide. The types of courses he creates and instructs are customized to accommodate a wide range of skill levels and backgrounds, such as: Law Enforcement, Special Forces, Military, Mental Health & Medical Profession, Public Education, Executive Protection, Private Contractors and responsible Citizens. Todd has also been an instructor with the SigSauer Academy for the past thirteen years, where he continues to teach his courses, as well as SigSauers’ standard curriculum.
