Jaycwebb
I shoot a Glock 34 in USPSA Limited Minor, but like a heavier bullet to help with knocking down all the poppers and plate racks during my weekly steel match.I had been loading with Alliant Unique, but I came across some Titegroup at a decent price, and picked it up. I found a load that I'm going to make a batch of 50 of to test, but wanted to ask the hive for feeback as well. OAL of 1.10 147gn Berrys I was thinking of starting at 3.3gn. The min/starting load is 3.2gn and max is 3.6 Should I just start at 3.2? Just wondering if people have thoughts on this mix. I'm seeing a lot of threads on 124gn mixes, but not 147. D.Hayden
I use TG for almost everything.. 3.2 gives me a PF of about 129 in that bullet in a G34.. OAL I use is 1.15 You might do some at 3.3 too, give you a little more cushion
earthshine402
You should be all set at that shorter OAL with 3.2. I ran that load for a while before changing bullets.
MWP
You're in the right ballpark with you're load data, just have to get it right for your gun. I'm closer to 1.130. Now the heavier bullet to knock down steel, that may be debatable.

Now the heavier bullet to knock down steel, that may be debatable. I've had issues hitting a popper with a 115, and sometimes even a 124 (though not as much) and it not going down. I switched to 147s about 3 months ago and haven't had any problems since.
J.P. Thomas
147gr bullet 1.100 OAL 3.3gr Titegroup. 3. will work, but better safe than sorry when you walk up to a chrono
Jaycwebb
Good knowledge. I'll roll a batch of 50 this weekend and see how they do! Edited June 2, 2014 by Jaycwebb
galt11
I have used 3.5 of TG at 1.107 to get a 131 pf out of a Sig 226 for years. Should be about the same in a 17 as it has been out of my 17. Adam
Solidgun
I have 3.3 of TG 1.115-1.120 making power factor out of CZ SP-01 models. However, with G34, I have tested 3.3 of TG 1.135 as well and meeting ~129,000.
AdvocatusDiaboli
I'm getting a power factor in the 139 range with 147s and 3.2 grains Titegroup. Edited June 6, 2014 by AdvocatusDiaboli
