3djedi
Is there an easy way to mount this holster to my belt? Safariland belt is too wide for the holster belt attachment........
Nimitz
Look into the Safariland quick change ELS 34/35 clips. The 35 retaining plate attaches to the belt and then you attach the 34 release clips to your various things. I converted everything I have to this, 014 race holster, bladetech black ice production holster, Buckmark holster, rifle and pistol mag pouches and shotshell carriers. Only the rifle mag pouch and shotshell carriers were actually designed to use these clips but I simply drilled some extra holes to get the clips to line up with the holes in the things I wanted to attach and then went to Ace for the appropriately sized T-nuts and bolts. Now I can shoot Production, 3-gun Tac ops, Steel Challenge open center fire and steel challenge open rim fire all with only one belt ... Just takes a little creativity .... Ssanders224
Going to bump this, because I need the same info. Racemaster hoster on a Safari belt.... any new ideas?
ss+P
I am currently working on an idea for this. I am planning on mounting it to a QLS clip, but would be the same process for an ELS. Give me a week or two and I will get back to you guys
Matt1
If the Safari belt is 2" then DAA make a 2" belt bracket you can buy separately.
kampr
When the ELS system first came out, I sacrificed a Tec-Lok for a backing plate. It worked, but looks like crap. After about a month I just milled out an adapter plate. Been running it since, with zero issues.
ss+P
I believe the belt is 1.75. I am going to do the same thing but used delrin with some inserts. I had cr speed pouches that I am going to put a delrin backing on. Will post some info when I am done

ss+P
Ok so I have finished my adaptor plates. I use a QLS plate so this is the larger adaptor that I made for my holster. The 2nd adaptor plate is for the ELS clips. I made this to fit my CR Speed mag pouches. The thread pitch for the DAA holster and the CR Speed pouch are the same so I guess you could use the smaller plate to mount the holster also. Kali
Here is my solution. Piece of 1/4" ABS plastic that fits into the belt notch. Drill through it and bolt directly to belt. It could also mount to an ELS fork if thats what you wanted. Edited June 16, 2015 by Kali

clw42
I was thinking of getting the 2" belt adapter for my Safariland ELS belt and the standard 1.5" belt adapter for my USPSA rig along with the quick disconnect that DAA now offers. Bwillis
Carb and Weber belts are too tall at 1.65” for da mounts 1.45” opening. My solution was to make a mount from a bladetech Mount. I used a dremel cut the backing off and made an H shape with the center being 1.44” and clasp the da mount to the back. I then mounted with 3 screws to the belt using bladetech already supplied holes. Also the bladetech being .18” thick is perfect for the da mount.
