Duane Thomas
Can anyone here help this guy out? http://self-defense-handguns.com/forum/index.php?topic=115.msg383#new
alma
Wishes I could help with specifics but I imagine that the old standard rule "you get what you pay for" would be in effect.
Jaxshooter
I have a WE HiCap that is as close as I can find to a 2011 Limited gun. As mentioned it is lighter etc but it does help with sight picture and transitions. Time behind an air soft will definitely help your shooting. fmj3
I have a KJW 6" hicapa and it is only a couple ozs lighter than my 6" Limited gun - with empty mags.
Round_Gun_Shooter
I shoot a Sig P226. My airsoft used for practice in my cellar is a KJW P226 which is metal and real close in weight and operation. It is gas operated blow back and was a great gift from my Son. Spare mags were hard to find but I finally got some from Hong Kong Gun http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GP-KJW-608-226.htm Mag supplier http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Home
Duane Thomas
Boeruine posted a very detailed, absolutely killer reply to this question on my site, with links to videos, also links to the appropriate businesses' websites. Thanks!
Roger_Out
No problem. Luckily I just got back into the hobby myself for the basically the same reasons- cheaper alternative for ammo and ability to do it in my back yard as compared to an hour drive. I'm working an "admin/instructor" job right now at Fort Bragg, which doesn't let me get to the range like I have been accustomed to the last 6 years, so airsoft is the only way I can keep my skills current right now. Works well enough as long as you scale your shooting drills and remember to key on the basics.
