AlphaSeeker
Using 147gr Xtreme plated bullies .3565-.357 dia. Some feed through the die without problem and others jam. I can push the jammed one or two through and it resumes feeding. Hornady told me that the feeder die is intended for jacketed heads. Anyone solve this issue? Reloading a few hundred rounds with a bullet feeder is not only fast, it allows me to pay more attention to the powder fill. I'd hate to have to stop using it. Brassaholic13
That's BS. I use nothing but Berry's plated through my Hornady feeder dies and they run 100%. I had a .45 ACP die that wasn't working right, and they asked me to send it back. When I got it back, they replaced both collets, and now it runs at 100%. I have the 9mm, .40 S&W, .38, and .45 ACP Hornady feeder dies. So, I would either try increasing your bell mouth, to make the die fingers spread further apart, or, call Hornady and have them fix it. AlphaSeeker
Thank you Brass. I polished [not sanded] the lower section of the collet and it now feeds without issues. I guess I got a lazy tech on the phone at Hornady.
