Tuflehundon
Looking for some new sights for my Glock. Currently have the adjustable sights off of a Glock 34/35 on my G22. Now I am in search of some new adjustable sights for competition use. I know most competitive guys use blacked out rears with a fiber front, but that just does not work for me. Tried it and hated it. I trained with 3 dot sights for so long in the military and then with my 1911 when I got out, it's just what I am used to. So far I am looking at the Dawson sights: http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=8000192F-1392410791. And the Novak sights: http://novaksights.com/products/sights/models/glock.html Novak sights are what I ran on my 1911's. Any other suggestions out there? awfaxis
I have these sights from Williams for my M&P. They use larger diameter fiber rods, which I need at my old age. Tried Dawson's, but they were not very visible to me. They are aluminum, so care needs to be taken when being installed. I got mine from eBay, and saved a few by not buying from Williams directly ( www.WilliamsGunSight.com ). A link for the GLOCK version is below. I bought from this vendor now 3 times. AICS308
I installed the fiber optic rear adjustable from Dawson. I started with a F.O. Front and adjustable solid rear. The front worked great but due to having bad up close vision the rear notch was very out of focus. Ordered the F.O. Adjustable rear in the hopes I could get a better sight picture. It works much better and made a big difference. Although with my eyes I sometimes see 2 or 3 rows of F.O. At least all the little dots stay consistent and I can now get a sight picture I can rely on.
