3djedi
I found this test on pistol-training.com and though I'd give it a whirl. ------- http://pistol-training.com/fastest I did it in about 5.23 sec and thought I was doing pretty good until I saw this: give me an F'n break! Nimitz
The drill is called Four Aces and I believe it was designed by Phil Strader. Draw and shoot 2 alphas, reload, shoot 2 more. Sub one second draw, 1 sec reload, 5 shots @ .20 splits or less equals sub 3 sec times, not all that difficult for a top tier Production GM ... 3djedi
No. Its 2 alpha in the headbox, sidelock reload, 4 shots alpha body zone. Dave sevigny did it in something like 3.56sec. So sub 3's must be extremely rare. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk

chuck s
it is actually draw from concealment and shoot two into a 3x5 box , reload from slide lock and put 4 rounds into the 8 inch idpa sized body. i just tape a 3x5 card onto the head of an idpa target. it is an excellent drill that tests several important shooting skills. i sometimes just draw and put two into the 3x5 card at different distances for good front site focused practice. you will be surprised how much harder it is than just hitting the head. Sac Law Man
There is video of Stoeger and Vogel doing it around 3 seconds.. Also, Ben did it from 10-15 yards under the time limit and barely missed at 25 yards with all good hits. That was impressive.

als14
I've shot it a few times. Fun drill, especially when you push it.
sigboy40
If I remember correctly, a true FAST drill on a 3x5 card, from concealment, anything under 5 is considered impressive.
glockified
Very impressive. I am light years away from anything close to this!
