kneelingatlas
Is that a AD at 2:24? No, I just watched it again and I think the sound is out of sync. Edited April 11, 2014 by kneelingatlas
Guest
Thanks for posting that, cool stuff. That was back when men were men, major was major, and spandix was pretty much something that only women and bicyclists wore. IIRC there were no walls at that match. If I am not mistaken, that video is from this match:

jriera
Haven't watch the full video but Frank Garcia is there, I think Jethro Dionisio too. I have a vague recollection of being at that match too.
Vlad
Err .. we still do those things, prone included, but it seems to me we shoot a lot more freestyle today then back then. I'd say we are better off.
jriera
Different Century, different guns, different ideas ... nothing good or bad about it ... just different .... you don't see today many Standards or poppers at 50 yards or fences that you can jump!! Phil Dunlop
One of my earliest matches had a stage where the shooter started sitting in a box on a wire on the top of a hill. On the signal, grabing the handle released the box and it slid down the wire rope past a few target arrays for about a 35 meter run. The only chance to re-engage was to jump off and run back up hill, and the big guys certainly suffered from rope sag, but nobody was complaining. Good times
