Ty Hamby
With the pallets of 929's scheduled to hit the market soon, I cant help but wonder if I should list my rare 27-7's of PC627. Rare 6.5" revolvers are selling for crazy money these days. Does anyone believe there is any more room for these. $2500 seems above the mark. What do you think? I even saw a 627-4 go for $1900? What gives? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=404350279 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=404653706
Carmoney
Did you realize that seller is one of our regulars here? (Not me, by the way.)
seanc
If you have no attachment to them and certainly if you have duplicates...if you feel like now is the time to cash in do it.

titandriver
Wouldn't you feel bad "gouging" folks for that pistol like the people hoarding powder for re-sale are doing?
EEH
If I had one or two I would be looking to sell at those prices.
revoman
With the change in my life and not shooting as much as I used to or would like to. It comes time to say farewell to some firearms that I would have loved to keep and shoot. No I didn't feel bad for the price I sold them for as the buyer had a choice to buy them or not. Just like when I offered them here on the forum and nobody choose to buy them. The buyer is not a Benos member but I did mention the forum to him. He also bought my DMW 627 and if you think these prices were high check out the 627 UDR going for $4200 and one sold last week for $5300. Best I can say is don't lose your job that you worked so hard to get to the top and it took 29 years and then it is gone in 10 minutes by someone who has only been in the utility business for 8 yrs and background is in journalism. Starting over at 57 is hard to do and I am back out in the field again as I was 29 yrs ago. But at least I have a job so life is good.
