In Idaho - "You bet" can be yes or OK.

In Utah = "Oh my heck" replaces a lot of swear words.

In New Jersey it's not going to the beach it's going down the shore.

I have always heard y'all down south where it's really southern people not transplants.

My dad says "warsher" as in washing machine, he is from Ohio so I don't know if that's from there?

Lap Land . . .

Many years ago I was working shutdown as a pipe welder, at the Mead paper plant, in Chillicothe, Ohio. A fellow welder, that I soon discovered was from Toledo Ohio, commented on my accent and ask where I was from. After I finally got him to understand where Morgan county Ohio was located, he replied; "oh, lap land"! I said, lap land? He says; "yeah, lap land . . . that is where West Virginia overlaps Ohio, you f'n hillbilly".

My mom and dad always called it a warsher or even woisher. Thank god I escaped lap land before permanent damage was done! ;)

What did "yens red up yer room" mean Rammer?

translations have sublties.

it means put up your room.....

but to translate the sentence to 'english'

she said "you guys go and ready up your room"

and ready-up most likely means clean

I am guessing here: grandma from your dad's side is comming to visit.

my contribution is from northern maine

wack your thumb with a hammer and you will say:

I was in KY with my wife, at a friends house....He asked her "Youwannaale8?" She had to have him repeat it about 5 times, slower each time, till she understood what he was saying....which translated was "Do you want an Ale-8-one ginger ale soda?" But it comes out as one word spoken fast ....youwannaale8?

up Maine = in the northern part of Maine

I moved to Maine as a senior in high school. I had no idea what my english teacher was saying because of her downeast Maine accent.
