Tattoo
Hey All, I have a new to me Bedell Open gun. I am wondering how I can tell the dot size since the previous owner was not sure? It looks fairly big so I am guessing 6 or 8.... T

BillChunn
I use a 4 when shooting indoors in the winter and change to an 8 for outdoors. A bigger dot will help when the sun is directly in front or behind you. You can crank up the intensity and still see it through the "washout" effect the sun will generate. cecil
if you pull the module .. more than likely you will have to re-zero your pistol... I use a 8 in all 3 of my STI Steel Match pistols..

rooster mcbee
6 moa for USPSA, 8 moa for Steel Challenge. I'd like to try a 4 moa in my open gun, but I'm not sure my aged eyes could see it fast enough. I do like the idea of a small dot for a precise shot. vetdocone
I am using a 16. I like it and it fixed the problem with bright sun in my face. 8 was not visible with my old eyes. I went from 4, to 8 and then to 16. Maybe not for everyone, but I was surprised how much I like it.
