openclassterror
Bolt lock. Most buffers allow the bolt to travel about 3/16 or so beyond the bolt stop before bottoming. That is the sweet spot- bolt locks back, but buffer doesn't hit bottom of tube. A lot of the recoil impulse that moves the gun around comes from the buffer and carrier assembly banging into the back of the gun.
