Brassaholic13
So, I've been busy with other projects, but finally made time yesterday to get back to converting the Hornady... First, I made two of this part, one for .45 ACP and another for 9mm: Sorry for the poor machine work on the end cuts. I was rushed for time at my buddy's machine shop. Then, the switches came in sometime last week, which I then tweaked and trimmed the length of the arm. The arm has about a 1/4" offset bend just past the switch actuator in the body. It's simply zip tied to the switch adapter pictured above. Here's the final work: After some .45 acp testing, it works great. I couldn't be happier. The .40 S&W and 9mm plates are being laser cut now, and should be here by the end of the week. I still need to make a .40 S&W adapter, as we ran out of round stock in the proper diameter.
