Sarge
I'm thinking about having my STI 2011 grip painted. Was wondering if doing so takes anything away from the traction of the stippling? Does the paint make the grips noticeably slicker? I want to send my grip in to be painted if I do this. Can anybody point me towards a company that will paint my grip as opposed to selling me a new grip? Or is there a DIY method? Thanks all Kevin Edited February 7, 2014 by Sarge

troupe
The paint that is applied does thicken the grip and can make it a little smoother. The texture is usually rough enough that it may out way the paint. That is the reason that I only do the factory colors, but the painted grips do look cool from some of the grip masters.
