lvipscshooter Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 What would be the best adjustable sight to put on a Para Elite Pro SS 1911. It has the stock Trijicon night sights on it now and I would like to install adjustable rear f/o front on it. I was looking at the Dawson one but it says the sight must be "modified to fit new style para adjustable rear sight cut". Not really sure what that means or if it even applies to my model Para. I have been doing research and it seems to me my only choice is going to be to mill the slide and install a Bomar rear but would like input from someone that knows what the heck they are doing LOL! RIIID Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 The slide can be milled and a Bo-mar style rear sight can be installed. A custom sight base will need to made, the custom base I make for the standard novak cut might be able to be modified to work. You would be looking at $235.00 for this type of install.
