blueeyedme
Mrs Blue and I met with Derek @ Millennium Custom over the weekend and put in our build order for 2 - 9mm major open guns....and the wait begins. See you at the FL Open.
Sarge
Welcome! It is without a doubt the most fun division in the game. What kind of wait is involved with MC?
Hi-Power Jack
No reason to wait ... Just order one (1) STI TruBor from Brazos and you'll have it in a week or so - you and the Mrs. can share it for the 1-2 years it takes to get your new guns, and you'll be way ahead of the curve by that time:)) You can always use it as a spare gun after your Milleniums come in ... blueeyedme
Kevin: I was quoted a build time of 4 months...but I am anticipating that it will be longer than that. As my friends say, he is an artist. Jack: I never even considered a factory gun or one from another builder. The only queston was would Derek want to build the guns since he has many other business interests these days. In the meantime we both shoot SS and enjoy that very much. Question for you 9mm major shooters - if you wouldn't mind sharing your load data, I would appreciate it very much. If you are not comfortable posting, a pm would be great. Hi-Power Jack
if you wouldn't mind sharing your load data, I would appreciate it 7 gr WAC under a 124 gr MG JHP, BUT, I'd suggest starting at 6.5 gr and working up slowly, with a chrono.
