t0066jh
I've tried Midway, Brownells, and Numrich. Can't seem to find a strain screw for my 625 and 627. I also wanted to buy a few spare parts.....firing pin and spring... Everyone seems to be "out of stock". Who have you found to have the best availability? Thehotrodpig
I got my last couple strain screws off ebay. Apex has firing pins.

I'm pretty sure it's just an 8-32 machine screw. Get some at your hardware store and try it. Plus you can go with an allen head screw even then. seanc
Call smith and wesson. They don't have any online ordering, but you'll get a person on the phone. I get all my factory parts from them directly, they seem to have stuff when none of the parts houses do.
S&W627shooter
S&W has a life-time warranty, and I have found them to be very helpful on the phone. The last time I needed a spring, the guy sent me 3 since he figured I would lose one again the next time I took the sideplate off. lol
