Northern Illinois 3GN Club Series - Polo 3 Gun

Recommended Posts

There is a new 3 Gun Nation club series starting in 2014. The host club is in Polo, Illinois at Tri County Gun Club http://www.tcgc.net

We have 4 matches planned for the 2014 season. April 6th, June 1st, August 17th, and October 5th.

We will run 6 stages per match, with one or two 3 Gun Nation classifiers. We are also looking at doing a point series, with a man on man shootoff at the end of the year.

We are working on getting sponsors for the match to have some giveaways.

All shooters are welcome, from experienced to beginner. Don't be afraid to come out and try 3 gun. The competitors are great, and will help you in any way.

I will keep this thread updated with any information.

Please email polo3gun@yahoo.com for any questions.

You can also find us on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/polo3gun

  • 4 weeks later...

We are getting together this weekend, and will hopefully have some stages drawn up, and a round count. As far as distance, range 1 is about 100 yards, and we will use it for rifle targets. The other bays are ~50 yards. So no real long distance shots. Polo has a 200 yard range, but we don't have access to it yet. I say yet, because if we can get some good attendance numbers, we might be able to use the 200 yard range for some stages later.

Polo 3 gun will be a plaque match, as well as all of our great giveaways. Be sure to sign up soon, our first match is less than 2 weeks away!

*1st place plaque to each division (must have a minimum of 3 competitors for each division.)

Polo 3 Gun will be a point series! You will be rewarded points based on your finish at each match. Top 10 point winners will compete in a man on man shootoff at the end of the year. See you Sunday!

Weather looks great for Sunday! Here's a few reminders for our match. Check in starts at 8am at the clubhouse. We will have our shooters meeting at 8:45 and start shooting at 9. We have a tentative round count, but it could change while setting up stages. If you bring 150 rifle, 150 pistol, and 100 LEAD shotgun (7.5 or smaller), you will be covered. Lunch will be provided, but bring some snacks and water. After you shoot your last stage, each squad will tear down their respective stages. Then return to the clubhouse for giveaways and plaques. See you Sunday!
