Bluemooncricket
Does anyone have experience with Federal 9mm once fired brass having loose primer pockets? When loading with mixed brass on my 550 I noticed that Federal brass offers almost no resistance when seating the primers. My concern stems from some breach face erosion I've noticed on my M&P slide. Sarge
I don't get much resistance either. I run my loaded rounds in a tumbler after loading. This cleans them up a little and may expose a loose primer pocket. Breech face erosion ? what is the load you are running?
dave33
With Win primers I get virtually no resistance, very little with CCI. No issues though.
Bluemooncricket
I'm using Winchester SPP and 4.7 gr. of WST with jacketed MG and bullets.
Rick88
Never had a problem with federal brass actually prefer it...
CeeZer
I too like Fed brass, also like Blazer brass. Never had loose pockets with any brass, loaded over 65K rounds with various brass cases.
