Hammer1
. The Super 1050 is capable of handling 30-06 length cartridges. The 7mm Remington Magnum, 338 Winchester Magnum, and 458 Winchester Magnum cartridges were designed to operate in 30-06 length rifle actions. The Super 1050 is available in 300 WSM which has a case head similar in size to the H&H family of rifle magnums. Therefore, can a Super 1050 handle any of the conventional, traditional rifle magnums like the 7mm Remington Magnum, 338 Winchester Magnum, 458 Winchester Magnum... ? . dillon
For 30-06 we have to shorten the seat, crimp dies so the bullets clear the bottom of the die. Additionally, we just don't see any demand to be able to produce this quantity of belted magnum ammunition.
Hammer1
. Thank you for your response. Appreciate it. As to needing large quantities of belted magnum rifle ammunition... Hammer1
. Are special die modifications necessary to handle cartridges as long as the 7 x 57 Mauser or 6.5 x 55 Swede in the Super 1050 ? .
