Hammer1
. Have just re-watched the Dillon video for setting up the Super 1050. It shows changing the whole machine and every aspect of it. Is there a short (two minute) youtube video showing just the minimum necessary to change from 45 ACP to 308 Win ? With dedicated preset toolheads, powder measures, etc... Think that involves only removing one nut, replacing the dedicated toolhead, replace the one nut. Replacing the failsafe powder rod. Emptying the primer system of the large pistol primers and replacing them with large rifle primers. Putting the appropriate powder in the dedicated powder measure and confirming the charge. Right ? . RaylanGivens
Takes more than two minutes... The Dillon video has a section on changing calibers...
jmorris
They use the same fail safe rod for the powder measure but the powder funnel is quite different. The backup rod/expander for the swage station is also different but if you have a complete tool head ready to go then they are changed with the one bolt. I generally run my priming systems empty on any machine. If they are working right, I don't mess with them. You are also going to have to change the case feed plate and case feed adapter.
