skippyaz
I've been looking all over the Net, but have not found much information on this. I am contemplating putting a Warren Tactical rear sight on my 75 Shadow. It looks like the best way to get this done is to have a Novak cut into the slide and use a 1911 Warren sight. According to Dawson's website, a 1911 Warren sight should use a .175" height front sight. I really like Dawson sights, so I'd prefer using their front sights. I imagine .175" is a fine starting point, but I am wondering if anyone out there has tried this and what front sight height you used.
eerw
Correct. Use the Novak lo mount cut .or the rear. .175 usually sets up correctly. Edited January 29, 2014 by eerw

swhiteh3
I ended up taking the CZC rear site and put it in a mill, widened and deepend the notch, chopped a tick off the top to fix the POA/POI relationship, and chopped off the top corners to be more like my Warren Tactical rears I'm used to. Now it's working like a charm! Scott
