rcmigpilot
Just picked up a new Para Expert .45 and added a Smith & Alexander mag well. The base pads on the factory Para mags is a bit too wide at the top and they hit the mag well sides before the mag locks in. I see different part numbers for different manufacturers (Wilson, Metalform, etc) mags so which base pads will fit the Para factory mags?
OPENB
Do the factory mags have removable basepads, or are the welded on? Dawson makes great basepads for just about every mag out there, just have to know what you have, then order the right one. For mags themselves, I got Metalform 8rd. mags with removable bases from Midway, & the same mags from Brownells with their name on then. They are the proper length to run with a magwell, and have steel followers that won't get chewed up like plastic. I then got Dawson basepads for them.
