Winchester Super Handicap in Handguns?

Anybody tried any Winchester AA Super Handicap powder in handguns?

In these days of powder unavailability it doesn't hurt to ask. I can get it cheap.

I'm kinda interested as well in hearing from those who have tried it, got plenty for my 3gun shotgun loads that I used to use Universal Clays for, but doesn't hurt to have alternatives...I'm using the same amount of WSH as I was Universal Clays for shotgun. I have not checked any loading manuals for pistol loads thou.

Is the burn rate of Win. Super Handicap approx. the same as Universal Clays?

the chart I have says its about 1/2 way between universal and tight group.

I wanted to buy Winchester 231, but the website had the wrong picture and I accidentally bought 2 lbs of WSH.  Forget all these "I heard from a guy" comments.  Here it is.

Fired out of S&W M&P 2.0 Compact (4" barrel):

Avg:  ~1,100 fps

Range:  1,075-1,115 fps

SD:  14

 

Fired out of Ruger PC Carbine (16.1" barrel):

Avg:  ~1,350 fps

Range:  1,294-1,372 fps

SD:  40

 

 

5.0 grains of WSH

Fired out of S&W M&P 2.0 Compact (4" barrel):

Avg:  ~1,200 fps

Range:  1,173-1,207 fps

SD:  9

 

Fired out of Ruger PC Carbine (16.1" barrel):

Avg:  ~1,400 fps

Range:  1,341-1,486 fps
