spikers220 Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 I personally don't hate the shortage but I think it is hilarious what people are paying for 22lr ammunition. There is no way people NEED 22 ammo that bad. Bricks of 22 come up on gunbot for around $100 and they are gone in minutes. That is absolutely crazy. Buy a 17 hmr and problem solved...then you double your shooting distance as well...and watch the critters blow up. How much longer do you all think this will go on for? It has been 13 months so far.... I am betting it will be another 13 months before we can walk into stores and find an abundance of 22 ammo. 21 shooter Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 I hate having a new .22 pistol and not enough ammo on hand that I want to start shooting it. I can find .17 ammo, no problem, or at least not as much of a problem. Blows stuff up, but can't afford to burn up a brick at a time. lol!
