Start reading on here again and watching some good shooting videos.

Get your dry fire routine going again. Start with low expectations and work up. 1-2 times per week at first, then increase.

Live fire on the nice days

Shoot a match every time the Temp is 45 or above!!

If I can't shoot I do pushups and sprints. Dry fire and mag drills. Hitting the heavy bag keeps my hands hard enough to take the recoil. I lived in Vermont for most of my life so I know your pain. I retired and moved to the desert.

Learn something new as you start back after your rest and recovery period.

Feel the slide lock back. Notice the lack of the slide jamming forward.

Notice the gun move in your hand against the soft tissue. How does gripping looser or tighter affect this?

Listen to the gun come out of the holster. Is it quiet?

etc.
