hal1955
How does theTS stand up in Standard Div. compared to a tuned 1911 or 2011 ? Does anyone have any experience or observations?
kneelingatlas
You're kidding right? This is the CZ forum, TS all the way!
alma
It's pretty hard to find a stock XX11 with a trigger pull under 2lb. I would be curious about a reset length comparison just because I haven't done one yet.
Neomet
I have used both. I don't think there is a definitive advantage to either during the match, just a matter of preferences. The TS, even with grip reduction and a shortened dustcover is much heavier than a plastic grip 2011. Some people like a heavier gun, some like a lighter one. Recoil impulses are different as well. Again, not that one or the other is the best. Mag capacity is about the same, I get 21 reloadable in the TS. Parts availability is normally the main issue with the TS. 2011 replacement parts are everywhere in multiple flavors. Not so much with the TS. Load development is a little trickier as most recipes you find on the net are for long loaded .40 and the TS is limited to about 1.135 due to the length of its mags. Not a big issue, but keep it in mind. With all that said I choose to shoot shoot a TS. Edited January 25, 2014 by Neomet
JimmyZip
I like the way the TS feels weight wise. If I were to shoot limited again, it would probably be with a TS. I do know also that my TS was very accurate too. Stock sights were good as any others I have put on a pistol.
twowheels
I love my TS. I never shoot my 1911.
bigfish
You have a lot more options with a 2011, but you can also almost buy 2 tac sports for the price of a 2011
