Hello you guys,

I'm Romain, from South Est of France (Marseille)...

I'm a beginer, I used to shoot in IPSC's Production division for 1,5 years, but I'm just starting in another division: Classic!

In France, there's not much people in this division, that's why I choose to register myself on this forum, which was advised to me by my coach (He's registered here aswell...!!)

My shooting equipment: CZ SP01 Shadow, SPS Falcon Uno .45ACP and MAC 1911 9x19.

Talk you soon !

Bonjour!

See you the next time I am in Jaun les Pins. Lucky enough to travel there a little and also had the opportunity to attend the Grande Prix of Monaco this year. Beautiful place and you are lucky not to be so far!

BTW - In some of the remote areas I have seen what one here would call a "deer stand". Do you guys hunt deer? Bows? FireArms? All my colleagues are city dwellers (Lyon - Paris) and could not tell me. They also tell me all the time that firearms are completely banned. Which I find amusing while reading (very slowly) my copy of Armes de Chasee.

Kind Regards,

RT

hello,

yes we've got a lot of "deer stands" in France, especially in south-west, for birds hunting (this is the areas were wood pigeons migrate)...I lived there for 12 years.

But no, firearms are not banned in France, there's a lot of hunters... and a lot of sport shooters, even if firearms are less implanted in culture than in the US. For example, we "share" our training area with wild boar hunters... ;)
