FWSixgunner
LoadData.com lists some .38 special loads using "BBC" round nose bullets in 125 and 158 grain weights. The data was originally published in Handloader #234 and lists power factors, so I'm guessing they were developed for action shooting.
Steve RA
Could be: Precisionbullets.com or Blackbulletsinternational.com Both have 125gr bullets and 147gr. Black Bullets International was started in 2012 so if your info is older than that then it may not be the one. Bayou bullets has a 150gr SWC but no 125 gr. Again, based on your info, anyone could have changed what they offer. You can look at all three and see if you like any of them.
BeerBaron
bevel base conical? you usually get BB - bevel base, FB = flat base, HB = hollow base. RN = round nose, CN is usually conical but could be just C I guess. WC = wadcutter, SWC = semi-wadcutter etc. I'm thinking it could be some kind of ball ammo? like the popular military ammo was just called ball ammo.
