DL10X
I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this mag release whether good or bad. I am thinking about adding it to my Glock 35.
Albertl35
I had this on a SJC17 Open Glock, I kept hitting it when I gripped the gun every now and then. Needless to say, the mag fell out. Eventually, I took the thing off. YMMV

Onepocket
I have two and they work great. You have to drill and tap them. What ever you do don't buy any metal mag release buttons for a glock.

Stev7783
I have one on my gen 3 g17 and love it, works like a charm. I do know people that think it's too big for their grip and grind it down to fit them. All in all it's a good edition.
igolfat8
I have one and it works great.
ajjacks916
Saw one dude put "too much" pressure on it when grabbing from a table start. Pulled it up to take his first shots and mag went to the ground. Edited February 10, 2014 by ajjacks916
sdrr72
I have one, and in a year's worth of matches, I have enjoyed using it. I would recommend it. I never hit it by accident and dropped a mag.
kamann
I think SJC sells them complete, or at least they used to. I thought it would be to big and keep hitting it, but when it was on my G17 open gun it didn't, not even weak hand.
CHLChris
Bringing this one back up from the dead. I've got one on my Open Glock and just plain don't like it. What I need is a button that brings the front edge CLOSER to my thumb, but this one takes it farther away. Anybody have any knowledge of a button that actually extends it farther toward the rear, not just outward?
Steven420
Zev has one. And glockmeister has a polymer one with two screws in it.. Edited November 21, 2017 by Steven420
hiflyer51
Also Rock Your Glock has one [RYG Apex extended magazine release], however I have not tried it. I use their regular extended mag release, and it is the best one I have found for me.
sigsauerfan
all i know is the higher your grip, the more likely you might hit it on your way for the first targets with a mag falling on the ground. i figure it's a matter of how of a big paws you have to work with lol. i had the zev unit, but replaced it with an extended oem unit. no more mags falling inadvertedly on the 1st shot lol.
