Hammer1
. Forget loading speed rate and ease of converting calibers... Which Dillon machine provides you the most pleasure in the act of loading ? .

SWThomas
This should be addressed to those who own more than one type of Dillon press.
Papa Joe
First one was a Square Deal that I got from my buddy when he moved up. After starting to shoot more, I tried out the 550, 650 and 1050. For me the 650 fit my needs but the case feeder and bulletfeeder were great additions to have! I still use the trusty old Square Deal for IDPA loads and everything else on the 650. gunnut315
My first Dillon was the Square Deal liked it a lot used a friends 650 and it was nice but when I used the 550 I knew I had found the one for me. I have 2 550's set up one each for large and small primer. If I ever start shooting more than a few thousand rounds a year I will go with a 650 or 1050. Will Abrahams
I have a 550 and a 1050. As far as which I enjoy more (excluding speed and ease of conversions) I would say the 1050. The 1050 is more automated. so its kinda fun just to pull the lever, sit back and watch everything fall into place : )
